Ordering

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too!

We cannot guarantee we will be able to cancel or alter your order in time.

Once an order is placed and if we have it processed and dispatched, then we can't cancel your order.

We CANNOT cancel or alter orders during busy periods and promotional periods, we are focussed on getting our orders out to our customers, so may not receive your communication in time.

Should the item(s) not work out, make sure to exchange for a preferred style or return for a refund. As per our returns policy.

Can I change my order?

We get it, sometimes you hit the add to cart button too quickly.

If we have not yet processed your order, then we can certainly change your order.

In some cases, we may need to cancel your original order and you may need to place another order.

Please contact us directly on hello@mooiliving.com.au or call 1300 180 710 to see if you still have time to change an order.

Please note, that during busy periods and promotional periods, it is unlikely that we will be able to change your order.

I ordered an item on pre-order as well as an item currently in stock. When can I expect to receive my items?

If you have purchased an item currently available as well as an item for pre-order, we will automatically combine your purchase and distribute your order once the pre-ordered style is available.

If you would like to get the other item/s sooner, please contact us so we can invoice you for additional postage and get your item to you ASAP.

I ordered an item on pre-order but have changed my mind. Can I cancel?

Absolutely, if we have not yet sent your order out, then you can certainly contact us at hello@mooiliving.com.au and ask for us to cancel your order.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

We use both Australia Post and Aramex for local deliveries in Australia.

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order.

Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

How much is Delivery?

Standard Flat Rate - $13.50

Mooi Living offer a flat rate delivery fee of just $13.50, regardless of how many bean bags you purchase (retail customers).

This is a standard delivery service, and we will send out through either Aramex or Australia Post depending on the cheapest rate. Please NO PO BOXES OR PARCEL POST when you select our Flat Rate.

Flat Rate with Signature: $14.50

If you would like to sign for your parcel, then please select Flat Rate with Signature for $14.50.

This is the safest option if you don't want your parcel left unattended.

Australia Post - Calculated at Checkout

Alternatively, you can opt for delivery through Australia Post's regular or express service and this is calculated at cart or checkout. 

International Post

We do ship internationally! Simply add your product to cart and put in your address, shipping will then be calculated. You will have a choice between FedEx & Australia Post International Shipping.

How long for Delivery?

This will depend on your location. Our warehouse is based on the Gold Coast, we obviously dispatch from here ... you are best to check our Shipping & Delivery page - https://www.mooiliving.com.au/shipping-and-delivery/

How can I track my order?

When your order is shipped, we send you an email containing a tracking number. If you did not receive this email, please email hello@mooiliving.com.au.

What freight forwarder do you use?

We use a mixture of Australia Post and Aramex (formerly Fastways) depending on where we need to send the parcel and how big it is.

What is your returns policy?

We are happy for you to return your bean bag providing it hasn’t been used and is in its original packaging.

We do require that you contact us within 30-days of receiving your order. If you would like to return your item, simply send it back to 3/10 Leda Drv, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220.

Make sure to put a note in with your parcel stating your email address and why you are returning – refund or exchange. Once we have received your returned items, we will process your refund. Postage is the priority of the customer.

My parcel has not arrived, what do I do?

If you have waited for more than two weeks for your parcel, then it is definitely time to investigate.

Please contact us at hello@mooiliving.com.au and we will contact our the shipping company to investigate.

Location

Where are you located?

We are a Gold Coast based business. All of our orders are dispatched from our warehouse at Factory 3/ 10 Leda Drive, Burleigh Heads, Queensland.

Can I pick up?

If you are based on the Gold Coast and are happy to travel to our warehouse in Burleigh Heads, then we are happy to arrange pick up of your order. You will need to arrange a time ... simply call 1300 180 710.

For those outside Gold Coast, we deliver Australia wide so can get your order to you - if you need it fast, you can opt for Express Post or you can contact one of our stockists.

Do you have a showroom?

As we are predominantly online, we don't have a fancy showroom, but we do have a warehouse at 3/10 Leda Drive, Burleigh Heads.

We do have a couple of our bean bags filled, so you can come and have a look and try them out.

However, as it is a warehouse, we do ask that you call us before coming in, to make sure we are available. You can call us on 1300 180 710.

Bean Bag Filling

Do you provide the filling for the bean bags?

Mooi Living provide the luxury bean bag covers only. Freight would be astronomical if we were to supply the filling. It is much more economical to for you to source separately.

Where do you recommend getting your filling from?

We recommend purchasing your bean filling from Kmart, it is a lot less staticky, but you can purchase bean filling from any of the major retailers (Kmart, Target, Big W & Spotlight).

If you need it to be delivered, we recommend Spotlight, as they offer a flat rate delivery fee.

If you would prefer foam filling, then we recommend getting your foam fill from either Clarke Rubber or the team at Foam for Home. https://foamforhome.com.au/foam-crumb-shredded-foam-landing-page/.

Foam filling will take your bean bags to the next level for comfort, but be warned, it will make them heavier … but it’s like sitting on a cloud. The foam fill creates a soft spongy feeling.

Please ensure to follow our recommendations for the amount of foam fill, but referring to our product pages.

How much bean filling will I need for my Bean Bag?

Each bean bag is different and will have a different recommended fill requirement.

How much foam do you require for each bean bag?

By rule of thumb, you will need 1kg for every 50-litres of bean filling required. So for instance, if the requirements state you need 600-litres of bean filling, you will need roughly 12kg of foam depending on how full you would like your bean bag… we recommend getting an additional kg just to be on the safe side.

Can you use Foam Filling for the Outdoor Bean Bags?

You can, but we recommend using bean filling for our outdoor pieces, unless you are purchasing the waterproof inserts, which are only available in the Nevaeh & Lachlan range. While the rest of our outdoor is water resistant, there may be some leakage. Bean filling dries better than foam.

Additionally, bean filling is a lot lighter than foam filling, so if you would like to move your outdoor bean bag around, then we recommend this option.

We definitely DO NOT recommend foam filling for the pool floats. The foam absorbs the moisture and will become heavy and potentially sink.

It will also be more prone to mould and mildew as foam will not dry out properly.
