At Mooi Living, we stand by the quality of our Bean Bags, Loungers, and Ottomans and are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. We offer a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase to cover defects in materials or workmanship.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.


What’s Covered by the Warranty?

  • Major Failures: You are entitled to a replacement or refund if the product has a major failure.
  • Minor Failures: For minor issues, you are entitled to have the product repaired or replaced.
  • The cost of claiming the warranty (e.g., return shipping) is the responsibility of the claimant.

If your Mooi Living product is defective, we will replace it at no charge. If the exact product is no longer available, we will provide a replacement of equal value or offer a refund for the original purchase amount.


How to Claim Your Warranty

To submit a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email hello@mooiliving.com.au with:

    • A detailed description of the issue
    • Photographs clearly showing the damage
    • Your order number or proof of purchase
    • The email address used for your order
    • Details about where and how the product is kept/stored
  2. Approval Process: Once we receive your claim, we will assess the issue. If approved, we will provide you with instructions to return the damaged product.

  3. Replacement or Refund:

    • If the product is no longer available, we will offer an alternative product of equal value.
    • If you choose a replacement of lesser value, we will refund the difference.

What’s Not Covered by the Warranty?

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Intentional Damage: Damage caused by tampering, modifications, or misuse.
  • Improper Use: Bean bags are designed for lounging only. Jumping, rough play, or other inappropriate use that compromises the product’s integrity is not covered.
  • Neglect: Failure to follow our Care Instructions or maintain the product properly.
  • Weather Damage: Prolonged exposure to sun, rain, or natural elements.
  • Cosmetic Damage: Minor aesthetic issues that do not impact the product’s functionality - and were not present when you received the product.
  • Burns or Heat Damage: Damage caused by cigarettes, fire, or exposure to heat sources.
  • Damage from Terrain: Tears, punctures, or abrasions caused by gravel, rough surfaces, or sharp objects.
  • Animal Damage: Chewing, clawing, or other damage caused by pets or wildlife.
  • Mould Growth: While our outdoor products are mould-resistant, mould caused by dirt, food, or improper care (e.g., leaving the product consistently wet) is not covered.
